UNIVERSITY OF TURKISH AERONAUTICAL ASSOCIATIONS ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING LABORATORY

   University of Turkish Aeronautical Associations Additive Manufacturing Laboratory is equipped to generate 3D models, render machine using technologies SLA (Stereolithography) SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) and FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) machines build-code, manufactures using ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), carbon fiber (CF), resin, polyamide (PLA), and recycle powder. The technology in use is, where high-power laser sinter small particles of polymer powder into a solid structure layer by layer. This process opens new opportunities for research and production of novel designs.

   SLA (Stereolithography) is a 3D printing technology that creates objects by curing a liquid resin layer by layer using a UV laser. For more information, please check the SLA section.

   FDM works by melting and extruding the filament through a nozzle, which moves along the X, Y, and Z axes to create a 3D object layer by layer. For more information, please check the FDM section.
